Fiber Optic Multiplexers, Switches and Media Converters
Media conversion, WDM and CWDM transceivers and Fiber Optic Modems. Convert serial data, Ethernet, video and industrial bus to fiber and back. Multiplex up to 8 GbE channels into one fiber. Fiber Optic Reels also available for dispersed sensor arrays, sonar, radar, communications and other applications.

Fluid Rotary Unions
On axis and through-bore models available, single and multi-pass. Rotational speeds up to 2000 RPM, with pressures up to 15,000 PSI. FRUs can be easily combined with slip rings and FORJs for even more flexible solutions.

Linear and Rotary Actuators

Permanent Magnet Alternators
A permanent magnet alternator is a power generating device that produces a sinusoidal output when a mechanical input to its hub or shaft is applied. This device is constructed very much like a brushless motor
with the appropriate selection of insulation materials and winding to match the environment and application. They are used for Wind Energy, Aerospace, Auxiliary Power Generation, Commercial Aircraft and Downhole Drilling applications. Sizes up to 30 inches with continuous AC power output up to 50kW. Speeds up to 10,000 RPM, housed or frameless. Special features available.

Resolvers
Brushless resolvers provide accurate position and velocity feedback as well as commutation in precision equipment, without the structural or temperature restrictions imposed by other electronic feedback devices. Available in size 15, 21 and 22, these rugged, reliable resolvers are ideal for demanding environments. Pancake brushless resolvers are supplied as separate rotor and stator assemblies, which are then mounted directly in the user's system. They are ideal for motor commutation and positioning, with error ranges down to +/- 30 arc-seconds. Up to 36 speeds. These units can be combined with slip rings, FORJs, FRUs, Torque motors or combinations of these other components to provide an optimized solution.

Slip Rings
Also called a rotary electrical joint, collector or electric swivel, a slip ring can be used in any electromechanical system that requires unrestrained, intermittent or continuous rotation while transmitting power and/or data. On-Axis, through bore and separates for power, data and combinations. Speeds up to 10,000 rpm. Data speeds up to 5 Gb/S over copper. Can be combined with other mechanisms for exacting higher level solutions.

Solenoids
Linear and Rotary Solenoids for demanding applications. MOOG Components Group can provide latching in energized or power-off applications, position indication feedback and four-position articulating motion. Typical applications include cockpit door locks, instrumentation, fuel management, Safe and Arm devices, shutter motion and propulsion controls.

Twist Capsules
The Poly-Twist is a reliable slip ring substitute for limited rotation applications, up to 570 degrees of rotational freedom.
